19 November 2019

Updated: Dec 9, 2019

19 November, Tuesday, was the day when we went to Kassel. This is a city located on the Fulda River in northern Hesse, Germany. First, we visited the Volksvagen plant in Baunatal which is the district of Kassel. This is the second largest production plant of Volkswagen. We learnt about the whole production process in there. Next we went to Bergpark Wilhemshohe which is a landscape park. There we saw the Wilhemshohe Palace with the Hercules monument on the top. From there we also saw the whole city. Then we went to the city center to have a break.

Today we travelled to a city called Kassel. As an International Group we visited the Volkswagen Company. We saw a lot of interesting things, for example packing all the parts of cars in different areas and boxes. The next point of our trip was the Hercules Castle. We had some free time there and we could wander wherever we wanted to. After that, we arrived in the city center. All of the pupils were allowed to do whatever they wanted to, for example go to the restaurant. I enjoyed the Hercules Castle and Kassel a lot. I think it was a really good day.

We started the day with a two-hour journey to Kassel. Finally we got to „Volkswagenwerg in Baunatal”, where a guide showed us and delved into techniques and methods of car parts production. After that we went to one of the wonders of UNESCO „Bergparks Wilhelmshöhe”. We went down to the bottom of the entire park watching the incredibly beautiful landscapes on the way. It was by far the best attraction of the day. After seeing Bergparks we went by bus to the center of Kassel where we had free time during which we ate pizzas and visited the city. Around 7 pm we returned to Paderborn with lots of memories and photos.
