First in the morning we took a bus from Bilbao to Burdeoux. Then in Burdeoux we ate in a restaurant all together because we missed the train because the bus was late. While we ate we waited for a train to the town where the families would pick us up. In the village we met the families and they took us to our homes.

Today we arrived at the Bilbao bus station at 7:45 am and although Iñaki and Miren were late, we left on the bus on time. The trip has been very boring, they have stopped us to show the covid passports and a police dog has got on the bus (very cute) and although we have stopped in several places to pick up people, they have not let us get off the bus to rest until there was only half an hour of travel left. Later, when we arrived in Bordeaux, we had lunch (there was not very good communication with the waiter, but in the end we managed to order the food) and then we took the train (although we almost missed it and on the way we have been blocking the corridor). In the end we have reached Langon and each one of us has gone with their family by car to their homes, where we have had time to talk and get to know the families better, then have dinner and go to sleep. In short, a boring day, nothing special.

Today was the day of our trip to Bazas. In the morning we took a bus from Ostrołęka to
Warsaw. Then we went by plane to Amsterdam, where we met with the German students.
After that, we all went by plane to Bordeaux. There was a bus waiting for us, which took us to
Bazas. In Bazas we met with our host families. We split up and our hosts took us to their
houses. We ate dinner together and after that talked a little about the trip. Then I went to
sleep. It was a tiring but good day!

Although I was totally tired from getting up so early, I was really looking forward to the trip. Our train was about 40 minutes late and since it could not continue because of problems we got off in Una. From there we took the bus to Amsterdam instead of the plane. The bus ride took 3 hours and I had a good time. At the airport there were problems with our tickets and we were already late anyway, so it was not clear at first if we would get the second flight. Most people would have had no problem to stay overnight in Amsterdam. The whole situation with all the problems we had was a bit stressful but also really funny somehow.
Thanks to our teachers we got the second flight and landed in Boudeaux at 05.50 pm.From there we went to Bazas by bus together with the students and teachers from Poland. Shortly before our arrival I was very excited because I was looking forward to meeting our host family together with Clara. When the time finally came, we said goodbye to the others and then we went to the house I would life for the next week.
I felt right at home with my new host family and the food was also delicious. After dinner we went to sleep because we were really tired, but we still talked for a long time.
